Jake has a beautiful face. I've met Jake before with his longtime pal Elwood. Sadly Elwood has passed on, but Jake continues to live a great Park City life despite perhaps missing his buddy. I met him this day hanging with a couple of other dogs...well you can see his smile.
Extremely adorable "my dear watson." His parents could barely move down the street with him without being stopped and asked, "can I pet your puppy?" Watson took it all in stride.
Gibson is clever. He would get really low to the ground and "army crawl" towards me, to see if he might score a treat early. It didn't work, but they were great sneaky attempts anyway.
Ernie is hilarious! He reminds me of a teenager that grew too fast and can just barely keep up with their own limbs. He's very happy, very lanky and as you can see has the coolest haircut like a lion.
This guy looked so tough when I approached him, but, in fact is one of the sweetest most gentle dogs I've met in a long time. Mick looks bad ass but is all class!
I met Legend yesterday at the Park Silly Market. He's in training to become the leader of his dog sled team. He was quite a talker. If you met him you know what I mean...
The little dog with the fur rimmed hoodie caught my eye. But how can you resist asking such a cute little dog companion not to sit in too? Mia was quite happy to show off her little dog Pearl. I loved both their fashion statements!
Brutus wasn't feeling too brute - like at this moment. The shutter noise made him very nervous. Some treats and petting cured that quickly. Look for his confident transformation in the book.
Ok, I have some good news and some bad news on the arrivals of the books. I just learned that customs has decided to hold the entire shipment, which includes my books, for "an intensive exam." They won't give me any time frame of how long a delay this might be. So in turn, I can't tell all of you when the books will arrive either. On a positive note. More dogs will make the "Dog of the Day" shots and at least the boat didn't sink with the books on it! So, they will get here. "When" still remains the question.....
Otis makes the most hilarious noises...I don't even know how to describe it other than it's some cross between snorting and almost talking.... or maybe some badly out of tune instrument. It's very unique and he had me shaking my head and laughing every time he'd do it.
This dog may be small, but she never goes unnoticed. She usually makes a very vocal entrance alerting you that Posy and her posse are about to be on the scene.
This is one cool dog. He's handsome, happy and really listens well. In fact while working with Walter, I kept telling how handsome he was and what a good dog he is....my dog I swear got jealous. Now to this day, if we see Walter my dog growls under his breath. Kinda funny.
This girl was quite a little athlete. Here she is trying to catch her toy ball....I shouldn't say "try", she WILL get it! I only met her for a couple of hours but, I think Lucy is one of those dogs who could chase a ball 24/7 if she didn't have to eat and sleep.
